Erica graduated from the Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy and has been practicing since 2002. Her passion has always been to help others live a healthy lifestyle through her work. She is the owner of Soul Haven Massage Therapy, a successful massage practice located in Osborne Village. Erica also completed her certification in Healing Stone Massage in 2006 and has been successful in treating patients with all sorts of ailments from stress relief to post trauma care.

In her years of experience, Erica has found that she thoroughly enjoys pre/post natal care, and has spent much of her availability accommodating to these patients. She has completed her certification in Infant Massage and plans on incorporating pediatric massage therapy into her practice in the near future.

Erica enjoys every spare moment she has by spending time with her family, her husband David and their son Carson.

Little Signing Stars for Tots

Join us for an upbeat program full of interaction and learning! Enjoy the benefits of combining basic signs with songs and stories. This program is ideal for all toddlers as we explore new concepts and playfully expand their vocabulary. Topics include feelings, opposites, mealtime routines, pets and animals. Toddlers can further develop their social skills during snack time offered at the end of each class!

Sessions begin: May 7 and runs until May 28

Fee: $75 for 4 week Series

Wee Artists – special Father’s Day session

Just in time for Father’s Day, a special art & craft session for creative little people ages 2-5 years old and their parent(s). Complete with story time for inspiration, guided instructions on how to create a framed handprint, and even some free time for wee artists to explore and hone their skills.

And the fun doesn’t have to stop there! Also included are printed instructions for the feature activity and a few other select kid-friendly crafts or recipes to continue the fun at home.

Being creative can be a little messy, be sure to wear appropriate clothing. A smock is also recommended.

Fee $15/child, + $2 fee for art materials provided. Add on a 2nd child from the same household 15% off, Multiples 20% off.

Siblings under 2 years old are free and welcome to attend. There will be an area set up for them to play & enjoy during the session, but art materials will not be provided for them.

Wee Artists – special Mother’s Day session

Just in time for Mother’s Day, a special art & craft session for creative little people ages 2-5 years old and their parent(s). Complete with story time for inspiration, guided instructions on how to create a beautiful canvas of flowers using paint and collage techniques, and even some free time for wee artists to explore and hone their skills.

This project will be a collaborative effort! Mom’s can make this Mother’s day extra special by creating a beautiful piece of art with your little one to mark the occasion, or dad’s can help in making a Mother’s Day present that is sure to be treasured for a lifetime.

Break out the art smock and prepare to get creative, and maybe a little messy! These art & craft sessions for little ones ages 2-5 years old and their parent(s) include a story for inspiration, guided instructions on how to create beautiful pieces of art, and even some free time for wee artists to explore and hone their skills. Each week a different art activity is explored, including drawing, painting, sculpting and collage.

And the fun doesn’t have to stop there! Also included each week are printed instructions for the feature activity and a few other select kid-friendly crafts or recipes to continue the fun at home.

*Be sure to dress your child in clothing that is easily laundered. A smock is also recommended.

Fee: $48/child + $8 fee for art materials provided per 4 week series. Add on a 2nd child from the same household 15% off, multiples 20% off the session fee.

Also usable with drop in ($17) or “Class Passes” (plus additional $2 fee for art materials per class)

Breastfeeding Workshop

This workshop is designed to fill you in on all essential information on breastfeeding! Instructed by an experienced Lactation Consultant, this workshop is a must for expectant moms and any breastfeeding mother out there!

Topics include:

Situations that can effect breastfeeding, making decisions to facilitate feeding
Skin to skin
Normal behaviours for newborns, including cluster feeding
Hand expression
How to know if baby is breastfeeding well (latch, positions, frequency, duration, output)
Fussy times happen!

Workshop length 1.5 hours. Useable with 5 Workshop Pass ($19.80/workshop), or basic workshop fee ($25).
