Learn all about the benefits of baby massage while creating and strengthening that special bond between you and your baby! In this private class you will learn how to apply a full body massage properly and safely, and learn to recognize your baby’s cues. Help your baby sleep, eat, and digest better, all while promoting healthy growth and development!
Please bring a pillow or blanket for your baby to lie on. Oils will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. (Unscented, vegetable or fruit based preferred). If your baby is scheduled for immunizations please wait at least 48 hours after, before taking the class.

This workshop will give parents and caregivers some tips on what to look for in both child care centres and family daycares (as well as pros and cons) and arm you with the information necessary to make the transition a bit easier. Come and get the facts from four Instructors from Red River College’s Early Childhood Education program with a combined 40 years experience in the child care field, including two Master’s degrees in child development, as well as vast knowledge and experience working with children.

This class is a brief overview for those individuals trying to decide whether or not to become gluten free (GF). In this one-hour session we will touch upon various reasons for going GF, tests determining celiac disease, where we find gluten containing foods and where to find gluten-free foods, as well as nutrients of concern in those undertaking this lifestyle change. We will also address some frequently asked questions about pregnancy, GF moms, and their babies.
In this class, we will discuss what it means to “know a language” and to “really be multi/bilingual’. The importance of literacy for language growth will be emphasized. We will talk about how to support your children’s language growth prior to their formal schooling and in the early years of their schooling. Ideas for parents who are themselves multi/bilingual and strategies for unilingual parents will be provided.
The Sling Sisters will present the many benefits of baby wearing, while also giving you many options on the market. We are unbiased here! Come and try on a variety of carriers and learn what suits you and baby best!

All levels of class are aimed to facilitate postnatal recovery, strengthen mom and baby bond and provide support to moms in a safe and nurturing class environment. Class is guided using an interactive and inclusive approach: babies are included in the practice if they are awake and can be left peacefully if they are asleep. Breastfeeding, changing diapers, crying and taking time out to soothe baby are all welcome aspects to the class.

Bring your baby and get ready to sweat! This indoor Bootcamp is designed to help new moms get back to feeling energized and strong. Our 1 hour Mom and Baby Bootcamp will always be a full body workout focusing on core, strength, cardio and endurance. Women should be over 6 weeks postpartum and we recommend babies no older than 2. Hearing is one of the most precious senses. Hearing health is important to a child’s development. Do you have questions about ear infections? Have you ever wondered about the different communication milestones that a child should be going through? Have you ever wondered if your child’s toys are too loud; or how loud is TOO loud? This information session regarding hearing health for all ages will answer all of your questions about ears. Ears are beautiful; lets protect them.

This support group will be a way for moms to come and talk with others in similar situations and gain a feeling of community strength. We have a scale for optional weigh-ins of your baby, and a registered nurse to answer questions as needed, but the focus is on talking (and venting!) about your experiences.

This Bootcamp is similar to our Moms and Tots Bootcamp but this one hour class is for mom’s only. Our Bootcamp is a full body workout focusing on core, strength and cardio. Get ready to lose those unwanted inches and have that one hour to focus on you!! This class moves quickly and there’s always something new and exciting to look forward to. Come and meet new moms in your neighborhood and feel empowered together!!

Belly dancing is a relaxing, low impact way to connect with your body in the pre or postnatal periods. It is shown to improve body awareness and uses the muscles involved with labour and delivery, conditioning your body for birth. Belly dancing allows women greater access to vertical birth positions and provides practical tools to manage discomfort and optimal positioning of baby. No experience necessary. Please have your care provider complete Parmed X Pregnancy Form. Please wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move with, bare feet/ballet slippers, and bring water for hydration.

After going through Post-Partum herself, Amanda finds it helpful to talk about it and help other people understand what she went through and how she coped.
She truly believes that her daughter Emmary helped her get through the darkest times of her depression. Through talking about her experience with Post-Partum she hopes to be able to give her story and lend an ear when needed for those who may be going through something similar.
